An informal (no program) free continental breakfast is being held in the Varley Room of the Coffee Cove, Moody Bible Institute, on Monday, July 19, from 8:00-9:00 a.m. Co-hosts of the breakfast are Richard G. Schock, director, MBI Library, and Donald G. Davis, Jr., Guaduate School of Library Science, University of Texas at Austin. Advance reservation prior to the conference week is required.
The Moody Bible Institute is located at 820 N. LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60610. The telephone number is 329-4000.
1979 FOCLIS Program

Honorary Life Member – Don G. Davis, Jr.
At the 2007 Annual Meeting, Dr. Don Davis, Jr., was recognized for his role in the organization of FOCLIS, his frequent contributions to the Fellowship (twice serving as president, and a frequent contributor to the Newsletter), and his ongoing witness within the profession. The photo below shows Don being presented with the life membership by Secretary/Treasurer, Joe Dahlstrom.
The plaque reads, “Life Membership in FOCLIS is awarded to Dr. Don G. Davis, Jr., presented in recognition of his role in the organization of FOCLIS, his continuing witness in the profession, and his ongoing contributions to FOCLIS.”
